2024 Solar Eclipse
Since it’s not too far of a drive from my home state of Pennsylvania I headed over to Chardon Ohio to get into the path of totality. I setup my 4″ refractor and took a few images of the eclipse, this was probably that nicest of the bunch.

Sky Planetarium Update
Sky Planetarium has been updated to version 4.77 to fix some issues with user defined catalog import and display. We came across the issues while importing the Sharpless catalog (from here,) which seems to be working well now.

ASCOM Driver Update
OnStep’s ASCOM driver has been updated to version 1.0.37 to correct the behavior of the MoveAxis() command when stopping slews.

New Stellar Journey website
As you can see there is a new Stellar Journey website! I’ve cleaned up the design, made it more manageable and modernized the look. Some of the outdated content is gone, and that’s a good thing allowing visitors to focus on what it current and relevant. I look forward to being able to add content…
